LED Luminaire Production Process

1. Material Preparation

The production process begins with sourcing high-quality raw materials, including LED chips, drivers, heat sinks, PCBs, housings, lenses, and wiring. Components are inspected for defects to ensure compliance with specifications.

2. Production & Assembly

  • PCB Assembly: LED chips are mounted onto PCBs using SMT (Surface Mount Technology) machines, followed by soldering and reflow oven curing.

  • Housing Assembly: Drivers, PCBs, and heat sinks are installed into the luminaire housing to ensure proper heat dissipation.

  • Optical Installation: Lenses or diffusers are attached to achieve the desired light distribution.

  • Wiring & Sealing: Electrical connections are secured, and waterproofing (if required) is applied for outdoor fixtures.

3. Testing

Each luminaire undergoes rigorous testing, including:

  • Electrical Safety Test: Checks insulation resistance and leakage current.

  • Photometric Test: Measures luminous flux, color temperature, and CRI.

  • Thermal Test: Ensures proper heat dissipation to prevent overheating.

4. Aging (Burn-in Test)

LEDs are powered continuously for 12-24 hours to detect early failures and ensure long-term stability.

5. Packaging

After passing all tests, the luminaires are carefully packed with protective materials, labeled, and prepared for shipment.

This structured process ensures high-quality, durable, and efficient LED lighting products.
